- Interviewer: Oh..! Rochester
- Interviewer: Who is your sponsor
- me: My father is my main sponsor. He is sponsoring me with his savings of xx L and he also has a provident fund of xxL. I also secured a loan of xxL from State bank of India. In addition to this I have received scholarship worth 20800$ from RIT.
- Interviewer: How does your parents feel about you going to US?
- Me: They are very proud of me sir
- Interviewer: What’s your cgpa?
- Me: It is 7.86 out of 10 sir
- Interviewer: Congratulations , your visa is approved please collect in 5 days
- Me : Thank you so much sir !
- Note : Be confident and talk with eye contact. He approved everyone in front of me.

- Me: Sir i initiated the process for my Masters right after my graduation for spring '22..(interrupted)
- Interviewer: Who is funding for your education?
- Me: My parents are my primary sponsors with savings of xxx lakhs
- Interviewer: What do your parents do?
- Me: Told him my parents occupation.
- Interviewer: Have you taken any loans?
- Interviewer: I am approving your visa
- Place your left hand fingers

Interview : 23rd May 2022
Counter 36: Young American Visa Officer in his late 20s/ early 30s
Slot time: 10 am
In time: 9:45 am
Came out: 10:57 am
- Me: Good morning officer. I hope you are doing well.
- Interviewer: I'm good. Thank you.
- Interviewer: Please pass me the documents
- Interviewer: why did you choose UCD
- Me: I chose UCD among the other admits that I received because UCD gave me an option to pursue a full time course in Mergers and Acquisitions which is in cohesion with my previous work experience and my future prospects.
- Interviewer: What is mergers and acquisitions?
- Me: They are a form of corporate restructuring when the company is building up losses and they want to turn around and be profitable.
- Interviewer: Which other universities did you apply to?
- ME: I applied to University of New haven, University of Bridgeport and Hofstra university. Got admits in the first 2 and did not hear back from Hofstra university
- Interviewer: what was your under grad CGPA?
- Interviewer: who is funding your education?
- Me: My mother is my primary sponsor who is funding me with $46,000 and my husband is sponsoring me with $23,000.
- Interviewer: oh so you are married. Is your husband travelling with you?
- Interviewer: is he planning to apply for an F2 Visa?!
- Me: no. He won't. He has his full time job, his family business and parents to look after
- Interviewer: so you'll have to come back to take care of them after your education?
- Me: yes sir. That's correct.
- Interviewer: you have worked for Amazon and Deloitte earlier?
- Me: yes sir. I have more than 5 years of work experience in core taxation in Deloitte and finance in Amazon. I also have 3 years of experience in another start up (my recent job).
- Interviewer: started typing for atleast 30 seconds.
- Interviewer: your visa is approved. Please collect your passport in 5-7 days.
- Me: thank you officer. You have a good day.
- Note - counter 34 ( Chinese guy ) was not there and the counter was closed.
- Confidence and good attire makes a lot of difference in the entire perspective.
